  We moved from Northern MN to Lakeville about 19 years ago. We visited several churches. We chose St. John's Lutheran in Lakeville because we found their church services inspiring in a quiet way. A well-rounded program is offered encompassing all age groups. The church is traditional, but we feel a new and growing spirit. Over the years, we've made many friends at St.John's. In the past few months, our pastor retired and we are now served by Pastor Andy--only the second pastor in two decades. It's an exciting time at St. John's Lutheran Church.

  We fell in love with the community of believers at St John’s Lutheran Church after attending service and receiving a warm welcome. We became members and soon after joined a team where we are getting to know others as we work together to help grow St John’s. St John’s is giving us the opportunity to share Jesus’ love as well as receive it. We were looking for a Church family that was large enough to offer opportunities for growth and involvement yet small enough to feel warm and comfortable, worship at St John’s offered us all we were looking for and more.

  8 years of my life was spent at this church until I realized that they only care about money and not the members of their congregation at all. I heard that they are getting a new pastor and hopefully the next one will care about the church family.
